Kids (grades K-5)
Every Sunday kids are challenged to live out our core values by trusting God, honoring their parents, making wise choices, and treating others the way they want to be treated. Preschool and Elementary age children are able to attend age-specific ministries during both of our Sunday morning hours. Our Kidz curriculum is aligned with the church-wide Bible reading plan. Our aim is to help equip you to make disciples.
We know that leaving your child with a complete stranger can be, at best, nerve-racking. Our trained and screened volunteers take every precaution to ensure that your child is as safe as possible while in our care. The staff at the Preschool and Kids Welcome Center can answer any questions that you may have when you drop your child off.
Kids check-in is located in the lobby of the Education Building. Children will participate in Community Groups and large group environments where they will explore God’s Word and worship in age-appropriate environments. Our kids ministry curriculum is aligned with the our mission to equip families to make disciples.
Drop-Off/Pick-Up
Drop-off begins 15 minutes prior to the start time of the service. Pick-up is no later than 15 minutes after the conclusion of the service.
Security
We believe that kids are a parent’s most valuable possession. Because of this, we go to great lengths to make sure when you trust us with their care, we do everything possible to keep them safe and secure. All volunteers are trained and back ground checked. We ask that everyone family fill out one of our registration sheets when they arrive to check-in their child for the first time. This gives us contact information in the event of emergency.
When you first arrive, we ask that you accompany your child to the Education Building Lobby to sign them in. Each of you will receive a matching numbered sticker that you will put on your child's shirt and your own shirt. Your child will then enter the appropriate room and will be under our supervision. When it is time to leave, simply present the leader with your child’s matching sticker to pick up your child.
In the event that the sticker is missing, simply go to the check-in center and someone will be stationed there to help you. Please bring photo ID with you to speed up this process
