Vision Sunday announcement 2022
On Sunday, May 15, 2022 Ronnie, the elders, and administrative deacons announced a three year succession plan. Over the past two years Ronnie has had an increasing desire for conducting counseling and feels that God is leading him to do more counseling and less preaching in the coming years. This plan includes a presentation of Chase Snyder, our Associate Pastor, as the candidate for Co-Pastor alongside Ronnie for three years and eventually becoming the Lead Pastor in 2025. Ronnie will continue to be on leadership team for the future. He isn't going anywhere - this is Ronnie's proposed plan to allow him to step into his next season of ministry here at FBC Loganville.
On August 7, you as a congregation will vote on Chase as the Lead Pastor. If approved, Ronnie and Chase will enter into a three year succession plan in which they will lead together, Chase will increasingly preach more Sundays and allow Ronnie more time to counsel.
Chase Snyder walked through an interview process with elders and the administrative deacons over the past five months. Leadership proposed on May 15, 2022 that the church enter into a time of prayer for this transition that will be concluded with a church vote of conformation for Chase to become the eventual Lead Pastor of FBC Loganville.
Below is a link to the announcement on Sunday, May 15, 2022.
Frequently asked questions and a letter from Ronnie are also linked.
Ronnie, Chase, and leadership will be at the welcome tables in the front lobby before and after services during the summer to answer any questions you may have about this succession plan.
