About Carll

We're thrilled to introduce Carll Converse as the newest member of our FBC Loganville family, stepping into the role of Executive Pastor of Ministries. Our elders, administrative deacons, and staff have loved the interview process with Carll and his wife, Leigh. Through hours of prayer and six weeks of conversations, we are confident that Carll is the man God is calling to oversee our ministries and staff.

Carll joins us with a rich background, having served as an Executive Pastor of Campuses and Campus Pastor at Rock Bridge Community Church in Dalton, Georgia, accumulating two decades of vocational ministry experience.

With 43 years as a devoted Christ-follower, Carll's journey began when he accepted Christ at the tender age of 10. He and his wife Leigh have been blessed with two daughters, a loving son-in-law, and a one-year-old grandson.

Carll's passion for ministry, his genuine love for people, his adept leadership of staff, and his unwavering dedication truly set him apart. These qualities are apparent in every interaction, reflecting both his deep faith in Christ and his profound care for people. It's these attributes, combined with his extensive experience, that make him an ideal fit for the role of Executive Pastor of Ministries.

Our Elders, Personnel Team, and Administrative Deacons are unified in calling Carll, and the decision has been confirmed through prayer over the two-month interview process.

We couldn't be more excited to welcome Carll and his wonderful family into our church community.

What is an Executive Pastor of Ministries?

Carll will serve as our Executive Pastor of Ministries. He will be the strategic leader who is responsible for guiding our staff and church operations in pursuit of the mission and vision. This position is dedicated to nurturing our staff, safeguarding our ministry strategy, and wisely managing our church's resources.

Carll will work in close collaboration with our Co-Pastors, Elders, and Administrative Deacons to oversee our staff, operations, and ministries so that we can continue to help people become faithful followers of Jesus in our community and around the world.
